Whiskrs

Complaints & Content Removal

Effective date: October 27, 2026

Anyone can report content or an account on Whiskrs, including people who are not members. You do not need to log in. Whiskrs does not allow explicit or sexual content of any kind (see our Acceptable Use Policy), and we take every report seriously.

What you can report

If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. Suspected child sexual abuse material can also be reported to Cybertip.ca.

Report without logging in

The report opens in your email app addressed to [email protected]. If that doesn’t work, email [email protected] directly with the same details.

You can also email [email protected] at any time. Members can use the Report button on any profile, message, gig or review.

What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement within 1 business day.
  2. Urgent reports (a possible minor, non-consensual intimate material, or threats) are prioritised: the content is hidden while we review, normally within 24 hours.
  3. Every report is reviewed by a person and resolved within 7 business days. We tell you the outcome.
  4. Content shown without the consent of a person depicted is removed when that person asks, and we do not require proof beyond what we need to confirm the request is genuine.
  5. Suspected child sexual abuse material is removed immediately, the account is banned, and we report it to the Canadian Centre for Child Protection and police as the law requires.

Appeals

If your content or account was removed or restricted, you can appeal within 30 days at [email protected] or through the in-app appeal form. A different reviewer looks at every appeal, and we aim to reply within 10 business days.
